Anyone arriving at the Auberge or strolling through Entrèves will notice a small chalet right in front of our Hospitality House. That little cottage is the Maison des Souvenirs, and we named it so because it houses objects representing memories of the Auberge and its tradition of bien vivre.
A small exhibition chalet
La Maison des Souvenirs is indeed a small exhibition chalet for those who wish to discover the objects of the Auberge de La Maison. In French, the word “souvenir” means “memory,” and the collections kept in this little Maison aim to represent the memories you will gather in the heart of Mont Blanc.
A curiosity: what appears to be a carpet is actually our scarf printed on the ceramic floor and represents the toile de jouy of the Auberge. The objects enclosed in the Maison all have a story and are available for purchase. To discover them, guests can request a small guided tour at the Reception.
